Erich was born in Switzerland as the son of a parson and he has spent his younger years in a mountain area of the country.
He used to travel extensively with Hariyono but he has calmed down to become the longer the more a typical Swiss with a twist. He used to work as an Administration Manager in the health related field of the Basel area. Erich is a self-taught wizard in figuring how computers work. He was also a do-it-yourself teacher for the employees of the company and did just about anything which needs to be done to keep the company running smoothly and economically.
Erich - the Swiss with a twist
He still loves to travel and to explore new countries, yet more recently with a focus on Europe.
"Thanks to Hariyono I have seen a lot of this world, especially in Asia when the time was right. I feel a great respect towards our friends in Bali who have welcomed me with open arms and I admire them for their many skills. Today I need some little assistance here and there when travelling; therefore, I focus on travelling within Europe. I feel very grateful that many people are willing to assist me when needed and that I can see, experience and learn a lot by observing professionals and artists working on their projects. I am collecting a lot of new impressions while thinking of our friends in Bali and how these newly achieved ideas could be blended into our philosophy of Taman Teman."
He has retired early due to a physical challenge and since then he enjoys spending much more time reading, writing and discovering
new hobbies. One among of these is taking pictures and sharing them with those who are intersted to see them. He is also extending his network by reaching out for people with the same diagnose worldwide, sharing some of his experiences with them and trying to learn as much as possible about this health challenge. You may learn more about his present activities on the link-page and on our FAQs.
